Anne Elizabeth Keebler Buehler, 91, of Skaneateles passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at Auburn Community Hospital. She was the oldest child of the late James and Elizabeth Duggan Keebler. She was a graduate of Skaneateles High School in 1952 and the College of St. Rose. She taught school in Florida and at Southern Cayuga Schools.
Anne was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, where she was a member of the funeral choir, a lector, Eucharistic Minister and a collection counter. She had the honor of lecturing at the 6:30 Sunday Mass on Channel 9 and at a Sunday Mass at St. Peter’s Church Rockchapel, County Cork, Ireland at the Curtin Clan Gathering.
Anne volunteered at the Laker Limo, The Creamery, she was a Life member of the Skaneateles Fireman’s Auxiliary, the Village of Skaneateles Housing Authority, and election poll worker and volunteered at St. James Thrift Shop.
She will be surely missed by her Sunday afternoon dominoes group, her Thursday night bingo friends and her monthly trips with friends to the casino.
Anne is survived by her children, Peter (Martha), Debra (Gordon) Carlson, Margaret (Todd) Riester, Michael and Mark along with 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings Joan McMahon, Margaret Scarpace, John and David Keebler. Besides her parents Anne was also predeceased by her husband Arthur, son Jack and brother Jim Keebler.
Calling hours for Anne will be 4-7 pm Tuesday, February 24th at the Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, 49 Jordan St., Skaneateles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Wednesday February 25th at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church.
Memorial donations in Anne’s memory may be made to the Skaneateles Fireman’s Auxiliary or the Creamery.

I have such fond memeories of Anne making me laugh so hard whenever I visited at the camp. Surely she is entertaining everyone in Heaven
