6/4/26 Phillip Haines, 57, died peacefully Thursday, June 4th, surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of the hamlet of Borodino, Phil’s love of community was only surpassed by his love for his family. Phil and his brother Brad were co-owners of Borotek, a local excavation company. July 6, 1926 – May 22, 2026 Nick Rossi gave life his all. He passed peacefully in his sleep of natural causes at home on May 22, 2026, after a short and swift decline. He had been ambulatory with a cane and then briefly with a walker and some assistance until just five days prior. 5/25/26 Harley Collard, 54, of Auburn passed away peacefully after an evening watching The Simpsons, one of his favorite shows, with his wife on Sunday, May 24th. Harley was born in Dunoon Scotland to John and Margaret (Gormley) Collard. He was a graduate of Skaneateles High School, class of 1991, and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He worked at Nucor for more than two decades, most recently in purchasing. Harley could always lighten any heavy moment with a joke or a jig.
