I have known Chris for many years. I recall many pleasant afternoon BBQs with her and Steve at their house in Skaneateles. I also have fond memories of the times we got together in the Adirondacks during canoeing and camping trips. She used to stop over at my place in Binghamton while on her way to art shows in Elmira and gamely eat the Indian dinners I had cooked for her. I still have one of her beautiful wreaths made out of dry flowers up on my wall.
She was a very warm and delightful person. She will be missed. Adieu Chris.
Chris is/was always a bright light in my life. In 1981 I came to work at Laubach Literacy and Chris was the first fellow employee to welcome me. Ever since then, we've been friends. Over the many years we have shared laughter and experiences that have enriched my life with beauty, joy, and love. Chris remains in my heart always. Via Con Dios my dear friend, Chris.
