Harry M. Foster, 81, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024. A devoted family man, Harry dedicated his life to those he loved, always putting family first. He was known for his generosity, lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
Harry had a special passion for Christmas; the tree would go up the day after Thanksgiving, and he took great joy in filling the room with presents for his family to enjoy on Christmas morning. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for hunting, particularly for deer and pheasant. He cherished the time spent in the hunting blind that his son built for him, eagerly awaiting the opening of each season.
A lifelong sports fan, Harry was a passionate supporter of the New York Yankees and Syracuse University basketball. His spirited cheers could often be heard echoing through the house as he rooted for his teams.
Harry's kindness, love, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and family devotion that will forever remain in our hearts.
He survived by his wife of 60 years Susan M. [Baker] Foster, a daughter Michele Fischetti, a son Randy Foster, grandchildren Tyler, Gina, Shauna, and great-grandchildren Jason, Austynn and Evelyn.
Calling hours will be held at Sennett Federated Church on Sunday, October 27th from 3 to 5pm with a service at 5pm.
