Herbert L. Green Jr 76 of Sennett passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, January 28th . He was born in Auburn NY. To the son of the late Herbert L. Green Sr. and Marie D. Green, he resided most of his life in Auburn.
Link was in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. Link retired as a
proud farmer of many years. He loved shooting his guns,
hunting, chatting with friends and family with his stories and always giving his opinion. He was married to the late Deborah, Green (Slater) for 52 years.
Survived by his three children, Herbert L. Green III, Christopher S. Green and his daughter, Jennifer Rusco and his grandchildren, Savannah, Jake and Herbie Green IV and great-grandchildren. Also, survived by his two brothers, David Green (Debbie) and Shawn Green (Joanne) along with many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 4th at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles from 10 am to 12 noon, followed by a service at 1 pm at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse with a reception to follow at the Skaneateles Falls American Legion at 2pm.

Link was a good man and fellow farmer. Used to yell at us for raising hell down Depot Rd. Herbie took a lot of tongue lashings for our shenanigans.
