Linda Lee Van Holtz, 70 of Skaneateles Falls passed away on Tuesday, June 30th at Upstate University Hospital.

Linda was a graduate of Skaneateles High School, Class of 1973, and went on to graduate from SUNY Geneseo in 1976. She worked for 21 years at the Post Office, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and warm personality.

Linda was married to her beloved husband, Bruce, for 45 years. More than anything, Linda loved her family and everyone around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and generosity touched many lives.

Linda also gave generously of her time to The United Methodist Church, where she helped with ministries including the food pantry and diaper bank. She had a heart for serving others and quietly made a difference in the lives of many people in her community.

She was predeceased by her parents, Russel and Virginia Zechman; her grandparents, Paul and Ada Zechman; and her in-laws, George and Aileen Van Holtz.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bruce Van Holtz; her children, Danielle Van Holtz, Toby Van Holtz and his wife, Liz, and Dylan Van Holtz and his wife, Riley; her brother, Drew Zechman; her grandchildren, Owen Van Holtz and Paris Londono, with another grandchild on the way; and her brother-in-law, Sean Van Holtz.

Linda will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the joy she found in her family, her service to others, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 6th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home in Skaneateles. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7th at 11 a.m. at the Skaneateles United Methodist Church, 26 Jordan Street. Burial will be private in Lake View Cemetery.
